Struggle for life

Chameleon was struggling hard for its life. It fell in the septic tank and was trying to come out but slipped back because of the slippery surface of flush. It was trying again and again. It took rest to regain its energy. It attempted once more. All was in vain.

I was watching it, how it could be saved? Have I to put my hands in filthy water of septic tank?

A traveller

As I was putting the soiled utensils in my kitchen sink, I found a pair of eyes staring at me behind the fixed strainer. I hurriedly bent down to remove the drainage pipe to free that little creature. To my disappointment, the metal pipeline was attached to concrete sink with one end and the other in the sewage line. I tried hard but it couldn’t be removed.

I am sorry to say that the little creature with pleading eyes could not be freed. Can you guess who the creature was to travel such a long distance from main drainage to our house line to the kitchen sub line and climb the narrow steep pipe to reach that meeting point? :-)

Dedication

A guy came to Gymkhana Club at 6 am sharp and left the place after one and a half hour. Without missing single day he did it regularly. All the other persons did one or the other exercise or play games. Yoga, treadmill, lawn tennis, badminton, squash, swimming and billiards one could do there. But he is a unique guy who does only one thing, gossiping. Hats off to his dedication to tittle-tattle!

What are you dedicated to?

News headline

‘Save life of needy hard worker’ headline of a local newspaper grabbed my attention. I went through the whole news. It was about a labourer who met an accident by an unidentified vehicle. He was seriously injured and was admitted to the hospital.

He is a poor man who can’t afford treatment. His friends and close ones are bearing the expenses. His little ones need their Dad badly. Anybody who wishes to help him can donate for him on available contacts. And the positive responses have started coming as there was a pocket-sized list of donors. :-)

What do you want to read in the morning; scandals, rapes, murders, blasts and other spicy stories or such a common man story with an optimistic approach in it?

Earth hour

Date: 27.03.2010
Time: 10:30pm

“Did you celebrate earth hour?” Mrs ‘G’ a school teacher and my known inquired.
“Was it today?” Asked I, a person who is always overburdened with work. “Actually I thought today is 25th.” I tried to clarify.
“That was two days before.” She laughed on my innocence.
“So how did you celebrate it?”
“We switched off all the lights from 8:30 to 9:30 pm to prove our stand against the climate change.”
“Nice.” I could only utter this word as I was feeling ashamed of myself.
“Exactly after half past eight there was no electricity. And it didn’t turn up till now.” :-D

Is there an importance of earth hour where there are so much power cuts?

Half century

“You are a f***ing bore person.” A known middle aged lady taunted or teased me. I dunno.

This is a 50th post by a f***ing bore person. :-)

Out of 50 posts, which post you liked the most and which you couldn’t complete without yawning?

Licensed to love

One side of the hill:
“Before going, do the kuchi puchi. Say ‘I LOVE YOU’.” Asked a lady wearing churha (bangles wore just after the marriage) to her hubby. Her husband was not going on a war for the sake of country rather he was going for an aerial adventure with extra security measures on steel cables between Aravali hills which is better known as zipping. What a difficult task he has to perform!

After reaching the other side:
“I was so scared till you reached here safely.” Saying this, hubby lovingly kissed his wife.

They did all; hugs, kisses and love bites except ……

Are newly weds are licensed to do all this on public places? Or do you think I live in eighteenth century? :-D
