Unknown numbers

“I called you a couple of times before from my new number.” I said.

“Actually I do not pick up calls from unknown numbers. Today it is by chance I pick up the phone.” Mr. ‘T’, a reputed businessman replied.

What do you think picking up unknown numbers means call from creditors or picking up phone from strangers is not good for business?

I read somewhere on net.

There are plenty of loners who chose solitude as their way of life. Solitude has been helpful to many well known writers, philosophers and composers.

What do you think is solitude helpful in making one successful or just kill one slowly deep inside?

Poor creature!

“Oho! What happened to its right eye?” I asked the man on seeing the street dog to which I daily give food.

“It was hit by a tractor. And after that its eye bulged and reddened. It is being treated and yesterday a vet gave two injections.” He narrated.

Any suggestions what I can do for that poor creature?

I win third prize in the short story competition organised by Fablery for the month of January. The Genre was Fantasy and Mythology. I chose Mythology to write about and on Mr. BK Chowla's suggestion on my post Short Story Competition I selected Ramayana and try to write something about Lord Ram.
