Riddle time!

I read this riddle somewhere on net.

Five people were traveling through a street while it was raining. While four of them were soaked wet, one remained dry. There was no umbrella or hat involved. How is it possible?

I think of 4 answers to this riddle which are given below :-
1. One of them was a pregnant woman.
2. Four people were carrying a coffin.
3. Four of them were sitting on a bus roof and one inside it.
4. Fifth one was wearing rain coat.

Which one is the correct answer in your opinion?

Pigeon in shaft!

I heard the fluttering of wings on the window pane as I entered my toilet to wash my face after returning from work. When I looked closely to the window pane which opens in shaft in which various pipes were constructed, I saw a pigeon. How it reached there? I opened the window of shaft as well as the window of the toilet that opened outside and then closed the door of toilet so that it could flew away. After one hour I came to check again. Alas it was sitting there in the shaft! May be it was too tired, must had been caught there from many hours. I put some grains on the shaft's window sill, on the slab and window sill that opens outside. I thought it was hungry might move out while eating grains. But when I returned again after some hours it was sitting there. It hadn't moved a bit. I took a stick and pushed a little so that it might flew and get out of this trap. It didn't move. Might be hell tired of hitting against the window pane.

What should I do so that it be free from this shaft?

Self surrender

The host (foreigner) of the program 'Road less travelled' on History India TV was on a spiritual journey. He visited various spiritual places in India.
He visited one of the Hanumanji's Temple. He told the viewers that Hanumanji is a devotee of Lord Rama. He showed the Temple from various angles explaining its importance. The priest of the Temple briefed him about the life of Hanumanji. The host asked, "As I have visited India, what good quality should I take back with me?" The priest replied, "SELF SURRENDER! Like Hanumanji who has fully surrender himself into Lord Ram's feet and his mission, one should also completely surrender oneself to the Lord, goal, ambition or purpose of life."

Dear readers, what good quality should one take back from your country?

Worry about my marriage????

“Can I talk to Chandrika?” The voice from other side asked.
“Yes, speaking!” I replied.
“Myself ………., your college time friend.” She said. “Wow! We are talking after 8 long years."
“Hmmm…….” I could only utter although once she was my best friend. But she cheated me just for a job as my merit was better.
“Where are you these days?” She asked excitedly.
“In Gurgaon.” I replied as coldly as possible.
“I am also working in Gurgaon and staying at Delhi with my husband and son. How many kids do you have?”
“I am single.”
“Do you know how I get married?”
“No” I was not at all interested in hearing her story yet she was keenly interested in telling.
“My brother came to know about Mr. ‘G” who was a lawyer by profession and had a hobby to help others. My brother told him about me. He expressed his worries that despite my educational qualifications, my richness and my beautiful figure I was not getting married. Mr. ‘G’ asked him to bring my nighty that I wore previous night without washing. Next time when my brother visited him, after smelling my nighty Mr. ‘G’ said that in my childhood days, my friend’s mother out of jealousy for me as I stood first in my class and her daughter could not beat me, gave me something wrong to eat whose side effects were resulting in my late marriage. Surprisingly he even correctly told the name of my that school time friend.”
“Hmm..” I was feeling bored of all these cooked up stories.
“Mr. ‘G’ told me do some prayers and charged me Rs. 7000/-. He correctly told the time of my marriage to be held. And I got married exactly on that date. Are you listening?”
“Ya.”
“Recently he told me that I will buy a house. Although I had no money still because of his blessings and prayers I bought a house in Faridabad. You must also visit him once for your marriage.”

Do you think she has become an agent of Mr. ‘G’ or she is really feeling concerned for me?
