Detectives

I am reading too many detective stories these days written by Indian authors as well as foreign authors. Today, I updated my facebook status as

Desi detectives are far better than firangi detectives! (fiction)

    Sorry, again I have no clue what desi and frangi means.

    But I know that I like Sam Marlowe.
