Shares of Infosys

“Is share market is down today?” I asked Mr. ‘U’ who was watching a business news channel.

“No. It is up, only a few points.” Mr. ‘U’ said. “Infosys is Rs. 75.26 up right now as the decision of a case comes in their favour.”

“I sold all my Infosys shares on the last working day of share market making a small profit.”

“If you have hold the shares for just one more working day then you would have made good profit from them.”

Should I be happy as I made a small profit or should I be sad for not holding the shares for one more working day?

Height of saving!

I placed some biscuits on the newspaper in front of a street dog. He didn’t it. I waited and watched from a distance. A young man came near the dog, let the biscuits fall on the ground by pulling the newspaper from one side. To my surprise he folded the newspaper, put it in his pocket and went away.

Has any reader seen any person doing more saving than this one? ;)

How much it costs?

An elderly man boosted about his financial prowess. “I have four flats in this society, six flats in that society and…….” I calmly listened to him. “I have 500sq yards of plot in Gurgaon. Do you have any idea how much it costs?” He inquired me or to check whether I am listening or not?

I was silent.

He repeated again a bit louder. “Do you have any idea how much it costs?”

Lazily I said, “It depends upon where it is situated.” 

Instead of understanding the deeper meaning of what I meant, he uttered. “It is situated in the city of heart.”

I controlled my laugh, the most difficult task to do on this Earth.
