Depends on your circumstances. I would say go with learn and then earn.

i always beleive in spedning what is urs .. we have this attitude of relying on our paretns all trhough.. Why should they bear the burden.. As such they have done enough for us so when we are able to we should get on to our own feet and do something in life...

So i beleive that WE shud earn and learn no harm in working hard.. I had a job when i was in my final year of college...
Hate using my parents money when i have my own two hnds ot work hard and earn :) but thats me some say i am silly ...
