Chinese toys

I am in a toy shop searching a plaything for 11 year old child. The market is flooded with beautiful, vibrant and tempting toys. I select a vivid, distinct and cheap toy appropriate for that age group.

‘Made in China’ was printed on the left corner of the box.

Should I buy the toy as it is very attractive, unique and comes in my budget or should not buy it as it was in news that Chinese toys contain toxins which are harmful for the children?

One of my lecturers once stated, that back in the old days the 3 most used words were I LOVE YOU and that now its become MADE IN CHINA...!!!

  4. Nowadays business has become so corrupted, to the extent that people's welfare is completely ignored by many unscrupulous business people. I have read most toys from China is harmful to child's health as they contain high level of toxic and are designed without safety consideration. Most toys are coated very high level of lead and can cause brain damage (which is why the colors on the toys are very striking), some found containing kerosene while many poses choking hazard. My advice is DON'T TAKE THE RISK.

  6. Don't buy it when you are sceptical about it. There are lots of other good toys in the market..Go for those..

  7. Give the kid a piece of clay and ask her/him to make a toy of her/his own.

  12. Thanks to the above people who have opted to not buy chinese toys.

We don't care about anything aspect related to ourselves, while trying to compromise with quality, in order to save a few bucks.

At least it's well appreciated that we show good concern to infants:)
