A car hit me

As I was walking on the side of the road without footpath, I was hit by something from behind. Before I could realise anything what had happened it hit me again. I hurriedly get aside and was surprised to see the culprit as a car in which a young driver and two senior citizens were sitting. The driver and senior citizens had no facial expressions of apology. Seeing this I shouted that he could not drive properly. The driver grinned and frowns on my face increased in size and number. Before I could say more, I overheard a comment by a passer by woman, “Give him a tight slap.”

Can a slap make him realise his mistake?

  5. not just one slap a few slaps and then maybe break his front windscreen or or if its a new car a BIG scratch on the bonnet or the side ...

NOW THAT will make him more mad ... and it will hit his pocket too.. he will remember it always ... :)

  7. A good run-over with his own car ... yes, not very de-escalating.

Obviously he does not harbour the idea of empathy and the golden rule is nonsense for him. So a good punch may be helpful, together with a short explanation.

  8. A tight slap... no, a nice hard punch on his nose, he will have to suffer the pain and the stitches for sometime and maybe in those periods of rest, he might even reform!!

  9. pointless...we cant punish and except people to improve...it doesnt work..still we can slap for personal satisfaction..

  10. You can't judge the temperament of most of the drivers. They drive thinking they have purchased the road. I think we need to learn a few more lessons of patience, while walking on Indian roads.

  11. A slap might not make him drive properly, but it could surely land you in trouble. Though, I want to do that to errant drivers, one has to grin and bear keeping in mind one's safety.

  12. Do what I do.

Grab the car keys somehow. Put them in your pocket.

    RUN!

    (tried and tested)

  13. Sadly, no..a slap would hardly make a difference..
But you can vent out your frustration by taking out the air from a Tyre :P

  14. Chandrika,

A slap will have no affect on such mannerless person. It would rather be better to talk to the senior citizens travelling with him asking, " Is this what you teach youngsters? I am sure if one of you were in my place you would have given him piece of your mind. Why don't you do it now also?"

    Take care

PS : You should have thought of your poor stomach before ordering KULFI but once you have it, relish it slowly as it gets digested fast.
