As soon as the stunning fireworks began than an innocent bird flew in front of my eyes, not knowing in which direction it desired to fly. It seemed that the bird was really very scared.
Should the innocent creatures like birds and animals be scared so much for a short span of enjoyment from fireworks or even short span enjoyment from fireworks is important in boring routine life?

Life in too short to hurt any one, be it a bird or human.
ReplyDeleteI am from Thrissur and we have a festival called Thrissur Pooram which is the biggest and colourful temple festivals in Kerala. You can see spectacular processions of almost 65 caparisoned elephants.Every year it attracts tourists from nook and corner of the world.One of its main attraction is the display of fireworks.It's too spectacular to see but sometimes it gets too tremendous that we have to shut our ears hardly with both our hands. It is not advisable for hear ailing patients to go and watch this spectacular display of fireworks. So you can imagine its severity. So it can get scary sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why people enjoy fireworks? It is responsible for noise pullution, air pollution and soil pollution, generates additional waste, not good for ailing persons. It's risky and scary not only for birds and animals but for samall kids too...

ReplyDeleteIf you know how many child labors are working to create fireworks specially from Tamilnadu then no HUMANS will enjoy the fireworks. They are working as a slave from generation to generation.Small child hand suppose to have books, but having chemicals to create these fireworks.
ReplyDeletei think the fireworks should take place where there arent very many birds around, like open grounds. This doesnt have to be either-or, it could be a win-win situation :-)
