A blind beggar

A blind man in shabby clothes was standing in the middle of the highway on which vehicles were moving with great speed. He was spreading his palms for alms.

Do you think he was begging money or wanted compensation if any speedy vehicle hit him?

  2. It seems to me that he wanted to die or he was looking for compensation!!
Why don't these people (healthy ones, I mean) look for some work instead of resorting to begging!!

  7. may be he was not in the right mind.. or in such dire straits that money was more crucial than even critical injuries or death after hit and run!

  9. What compensation would a blind man get for getting hit? In all probability, he would not survive or get maimed for life. Moreover if he did make through an accident, thanks to our bureaucracy and re-tape, forget compensation, he would be additionally charged for any treatment bestowed upon him.
