Devotional Tears in My Eyes While Performing Live NavDurga Yagna Day 8 - 30 March 23 in Sadhana App

Were the tears coming from lacrimal meat side of eye?
It is the area where the small pink globular nodule at the inner corner of eye is present.

I raised my hand and gently touched my right eye to check. No, they were not flowing from that part of the eye. I was experiencing spiritual crying while performing a live NavDurga Yagna Day 8 - 30 March 23 in Sadhana App. As usual tears started flowing from my eyes while pouring hawan samagri in holy fire while chanting navarna mantra

An incidence flashed in my mind! When I once told Neelam Om that I was experiencing spiritual crying too frequently. She shared with me that Om Swamiji told in one of His discourses that the tears of devotion if flowed from the eye corner opposite to nose are of the best and the tears flowing from the eye corner close to the nose are of inferior type and the tears flowing from the middle part of eye are of ok type. After observing myself for sometime I briefed her that most of the time the tears flowed from the middle part of my eyes and many a times from the eye corners that are away from the nose or the eye corners that are close to the ears. But they very rarely came out from the corner of eye close to the nose.

Almost daily tears are there while performing live yagna on navarna mantra and tantric mantra. No tears while doing yagna on any other mantra nor while watching the recording of the same event.

Next time, whenever you shed tears, tears have a lot to say about your spiritual growth. :)

My Spiritual Experience of Doing Live NavDurga Yagna Day 7 - 29 March 23 in Sadhana App

"Who is gossiping?" Om Swamiji asked this question in the live NavDurga yagna Day 7 - 29 March 23.

I was the first one to raise my hand as most of the time I was conversing  with my mother about relatives, friends, employees, spiritual experiences, books we have read, money matters, business and more. In general, I hardly get the time to talk with her but when I get the opportunity to chat, I always pour out my heart to her. She listens patiently and wisely advises me. During this Navratri, I have spent a lot of time with her.
I am like a backbencher who gossips incessantly irrespective of who is teaching and what is being taught in the class.

As soon as Swamiji started chanting navarna mantra, I began to cry like a child whose mother is lost in a crowded place. I was sobbing uncontrollably for motherly affection. Although I have a very benevolent mother still I was longing for the Universal love, the love for all beings. I was weeping for the Divine Intimacy, the tenderness and warmth only Divine Mother has. The burning sensations around my heart chakra intensified as I yearned more for Her. I kept crying for Her gentle and caring touch even while performing yagna on the tantric mantra of the day.
I am like a front bencher who paid attention to each and every word taught in the class.

This is only Divine Grace! :)

My Spiritual Experience of Doing Live NavDurga Yagna Day 6 - 28 March 23 in Sadhana App

Tears of devotion flowed from my eyes as I visualized gracious Ma Katyayani while chanting the navarna mantra and tapping the hawan samagri button in Sadhana App. Along with other devotees, I was doing NavDurga Yagna Day 6 - 28 March 23 live with Om Swamiji during the wee hours. In the beginning of the yagna Swamiji stated the importance of mansik yagna over the yagna done with ingredients, that we immediately feel the difference, a shift in the consciousness after doing the mansik pooja. It helps to focus completely on the deity rather than the ingredients, the process and the surroundings. I always love to do mansik pooja as it saves my time to clean up the things after the yagna is over. :D

There was a constant flow of joy of tears from my eyes while Swamiji was chanting the navarna mantra in His dynamic voice. My tears were the purification of soul-cry. Immersed in Ma Katyayani's Universal Love, I was shedding ceaseless tears on the Lotus Feet of Mother Divine. My devotion towards Her filled my heart and my soul with deep love, a yearning for Her full vision.

As Dr. Antony Theodore said, "Tears flowed down in my soul." The drops of salty water are the words that my heart can not say or express. Dipped in Mother's devotional love, I was drinking this nectar of ecstasy even while pouring the ingredients in the holy fire while chanting the tantric mantra 'Aing Malinye Swaha'. The love I felt for Her was like a fire which burnt nothing but all my desires!

If tears of love, joy, and ecstasy have not washed your cheeks, you are yet to taste life. - Sadhguru

Live Telecast of Yagya Day 5 - 27 Mar 23 in Sadhana App and os.me

A bird flew! An owlet?

While watching the live telecast of Yagya Day 5 - 27 Mar 23 from Sri Badrika Ashram I noticed a bird flew behind Om Swamiji (T- 2:48 - 2:49). It took flight from the left side of Om Swami ji to the top left corner of the screen. The bird was medium sized and its wings were magnificent. It must be an owlet! But I have never noticed an owlet there during my various stays in the ashram. Later I searched the 'Birds of Himachal Pradesh' and found out that Spotted Owlet and Barred Owlet are common varieties of owls in the Himalayas.

On the fifth day of NavDurga Sadhana we worshipped Ma Skandmata who is holding Lord Skanda very gently and lovingly in one of Her arms. He is also known as Lord Kartikeya in North India or Lord Murgan as it is called in South India. In Her two arms She is holding red lotuses representing material success and spiritual success respectively and with the fourth arm She is screening the adversaries, blessing Her devotees by fulfilling their desires. While performing today's yagya, Om Swamiji says, "Ma Skandmata is the ever benevolent, gentle and caring mother. How much can we get it done from a mother? So it is Divine Mother in the form of mother."

Mother knows that it is the time when most of us are going through financial problems. The market is down because of high inflation and recession. As we pray fervently to Her while doing Nav Durga Sadhana, Her motherly instinct protects us from the economic harshness and worldly brutality. She takes the form of Ma Lakshmi whose vehicle is an owl and blesses us with the vision of an owl in the brahmamuhurta.

How many of you have a vision of an owl while performing Sri Suktam Sadhana? You see, when the mother is in a mood to grant, She blesses the devotees with the rarest of the rare view effortlessly. After all She is a mother, a universal mother, a compassionate one!

This spiritual experience is a blessing for all those who are doing NavDurga Sadhana live in Sadhana App. This experience also means that the financial crunch will be over soon and new doors of monetary gains will be opened. Mother Divine has Herself come to bless all of us with materialistic success as well as spiritual success.
Moreover, it is not a mere spiritual experience rather a Divine Blessing for all of us! :)

Dazzling Light Like a Sun in Meditation

While concentrating on Trikuti, the light as bright as sun appeared from the right side of my forehead. This happened when I was doing the last leg of the japa of ‘Om Sri Matrey Namah’ in today’s sadhana. The 40-day sadhana was just about to complete in a few days.

The yellow light was too bright and powerful but faded as quickly as it appeared. My joy no bounds on the vision of the dazzling yellow light that filled me with warmth, happiness and positivity. I was half surprised and half confused. On disappearing of this peculiar sensation, I had an intense desire for the repeat telecast of the same experience.

This experience was a great encouragement in my Sadhana. The appearance of Prithvi tattva represents yellow-coloured light which means that I was transcending the physical consciousness. My heart beat jumped on the vision of dazzling light but I must have breathe slowly, very slowly and should remain calm and steady in my asana. May be next time I would be able to control my emotions and could hold this vision for a longer time.

Krishna 360 Degrees by Devdutt Pattnaik

I had just finished the podcast on Audible named 'Krishna 360 degrees' written and narrated by Devdutt Pattnaik. The author has done a detailed research on Lord Krishna as an infant, prankster, cowherd, beloved, refugee, householder, charioteer and avatar. Krishna manages both rural and urban responsibilities well because he is a cowherd in Vrindavan and a king in Dwarka. It is a deep dive into the life of Krishna as a kid, a toddler, a teenager, a cowherd, a statesman, a lover, a husband, a father, and a god-on-earth.

Fall in love with Krishna from every conceivable perspective as the distinct and captivating way of expression will keep you interested and engaged throughout. :)

If you enjoyed reading this then by the same author you will also like this. :)

My Spiritual Experience of Watching Sri Hari's Aarti Live

Date - 17.3.23

Place - My home

I could not sing a single word of aarti as I was crying horribly. As soon as I saw the alluring Sri Hari Bhagwan during the live telecast of Aarti from Sri Badrika Ashram then tears welled up in my eyes and I started crying uncontrollably. Dark skinned Bhagwan's hands, feet, face and eyes resemble red lotus flowers in the black tinted water of Yamuna river.

With a mere glance from His big eyes He destroyed the darkness, ignorance, loneliness of His devotees filling their lives with bright crimson colored joy, happiness and optimism. He subdued Kaliya Naag, the serpent who resided in Yamuna river, a representation of coiled serpent of Kundalini energy by channelizing its poison of hatred into bliss and enjoyment.

Live Telecast of Aarti From Sri Badrika Ashram

On 16th March, 2023, as Sri Hari's Aarti began, I started crying loudly. I experienced it while watching the live telecast of Aarti from Sri Badrika Ashram. My eyes were filled with tears and they overflowed wetting my soft cheeks. Black complexion of Sri Hari Bhagwan is like dark clouds carrying rains of love. His Pitambar, the yellow silk dress, is like a lightning of blessing among those black clouds. I was absorbed in His mesmerizing form. Surprisingly I cried only during the live telecast and not while watching the recording of Aarti! :)

WHEN You Eat is More Important Than WHAT You Eat.

What is the longest time gap between your two meals?

Mine is 24 hours which means I only take one meal per day. For the past 14 months, I am comfortable practicing it. Sometimes when I am in a mood to do tapas then I even skip that one meal, which means that I have my meal after 48 hours. My plate consists of carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, fats, vitamins and fibers. To everyone's surprise, I consume butter, ghee, sweets and fried foods on a regular basis. But it doesn't affect my health as there is a huge time gap between the two meals. If the gap between two meals is very less, even cucumbers will give belly fat. :)

If the gap is more than 9 hours then you are living a healthy life. But if it is less than 9 hours then you should increase the gap by delaying your breakfast or taking your dinner earlier. You can slowly shift it half an hour or so till you reach your goal. The gap between the two meals is necessary for the stomach to take rest and not to produce hormones like insulin frequently. You can increase this gap from 9 hours to 12 hours. In the early days, the people used to have their meals before sunset and only after sunrise. But after the invention of electricity there is no such time restraint, one eats whenever one feels like.

So, WHEN you eat is more important than WHAT you eat. :)

Conquer Insomnia!

Many years back, I was struggling with insomnia. I could neither sleep at the proper time nor could I experience sound sleep. I made some changes in my lifestyle to overcome this problem. These were as follows :-

1. I stopped taking a nap during the daytime and utilized that time in exercising regularly. Either I did yoga or walking or both. When my body got tired, I could very easily slip into sleep. You can take the help of any Health App to keep a track of your exercise progress.

2. Before sleeping, I started chanting mantras while concentrating on each and every word. Soon my mind would be exhausted and needed rest. You can select any mantra from Sadhana App and can chant it visualizing each letter of the mantra in your mind.

3. I started doing shavasana. While focusing and relaxing each and every part of the body, very quickly I felt drowsy. You can do yoga Nidra in Black Lotus App, it is a really very effective way of relaxing.
