Affection

As a middle aged lady was searching something in her hand bag, a stray cow slowly moved towards her. After, checking all the pockets, the lady looked up and said, "Arre yaar, today I forgot to bring chapatis for you." (Hey buddy, today I forgot to bring bread for you.)
Have you ever talk with any bird or animal with so much affection?

Shubham

A guy named ‘Shubham …………(Surname)’ wrote to me on facebook.
You have a nice surname :P

I replied :
Its my name. :) Nice to meet u virtually. :) U can read more about me on http://chandrikashubham.blogspot.com

ohh ohk.. i was a little intrigued.. have seen a lot of guys named "shubham", but a girl.. that too the second name :)
nonetheless, its a beautiful name, won't you say that.. lol

your blog is really cool.. keep up the good work..

Yaeh, its a beautiful name given to me by my grand pa. Earlier it was my first name. And at that time nobody had the name 'Shubham' except me. It was an uncommon name. Someone suggested me to change my name with the letter 'ch' so 'Chandrika' become my first name. I didn't remove it as I loved the name 'Shubham'. When all the eleborate processes was done for the name changing then Mr. Somebody told me that it was also wrong as he advised to have a name starting with 'chu' and not 'ch'. So in future I will be changing my name to Chudamani. :-D

Thanks for praises. :)

lol.. thats really interesting :) so probably in future you will be called Chudamani Chandrika Shubham :P don't change ur name too often, or else you might end up with a longer name than Chaminda Vaas :) (i don't kno if you follow cricket but he is supposedly the player with the longest name in the world)

this also tells me u were born before me, coz i have always existed with the name "shubham".. haha..
but i wud agree.. it was an uncommon name when i was born, but can be seen at every nook n corner these days.. shubham banquet hall, shubham boutique, shubham valley restaurant etc etc

Should I have a longer name to break the record or this is sufficently long? :-D

Meditation Vs self torture

A saint in black robe meditating in front of temple was unusual sight for me. I had never seen that saint before, although passing through that route was my routine.

Everything could get roasted when the temperature is so high in afternoon; a saint was meditating in direct sunlight and fire burning around him.

Do you think it is a form of meditation or self torture?

Celebrating birthday

Camel took the chapatti from my hand after it’s owner’s approval. “How old is he?” I asked him. Pondering for sometime he told, “Must be twenty years old.” A kid standing near by and observing us, asked the owner innocently. “When did you celebrate its birthday? Do you cut cake on it’s birthday?” :-D

Home Work

“Why are you sounding so tired?” On phone, I inquired to a mother of school going boy. The boy was studying in sixth standard of a reputed convent school of the town.

“Actually I was preparing a project assigned to him.” She explained.
“And what he is going?” Surprised with the answer I asked.
“Wandering from here and there, doing nothing.”

Does the school gives home work and projects to keep parents busy or for the cognitive development of the child?

Struggle for life

Chameleon was struggling hard for its life. It fell in the septic tank and was trying to come out but slipped back because of the slippery surface of flush. It was trying again and again. It took rest to regain its energy. It attempted once more. All was in vain.

I was watching it, how it could be saved? Have I to put my hands in filthy water of septic tank?
