Beehives

“Even at this hour, there is nobody in the park.” A woman pointed out this.
“What happened?” I asked curiously.
“Half an hour later, all the beehives in the building will be destroyed by spraying insecticides.”
“Why?”
“Yesterday, the honey bees attacked the members of a house who were performing a hawan. They stung four people. One woman was rushed to the hospital.”

Next day when I opened the front door of my house, I found thousands of killed bees scattered in the corridor.

For stinging four people should the lives of thousands of bees be taken or not?

  1. I find it hard to believe there isn't a better way to resolve this. I would need more information to decide what to do.

  4. Chandrika,

First we rake up a beehive and then make noise about bees getting annoyed. After that we forget Live and Let Live. As per recent survey population of bees has gone down drastically which is likely to lead to shortage of natural honey.

    Take care
